Welcome to Philippine CPD Online Medicine

Hello fellow doctors! Welcome to Philippine CPD Online Medicine. It’s been a long journey and finally we are ready to start. Some of the lectures have been delayed due to the fact that our lecturers were involved in the COViD19 response as frontliners. Suffice it to say we will try to provide more lectures in the months to come.

Basically, the lectures are divided into three categories. Basic lectures cover topics for general medicine. It is intended for general practitioners and specialists who incorporate general medicine in their practice. They will be conducted by both general practitioners and specialists. Intermediate courses are primarily intended for specialists and will be conducted by specialists in those fields. Advanced courses are specialty courses considered advanced by most specialists in those particular field of specialty.

Our first available course approved by PRC is “Optimal Management of Hypertension in the Elderly”. Two other courses are still in the process of being submitted to PRC. We intend to have a total of 15 courses available by end-August for CPD Medicine. Feel free to browse the product page to see available and upcoming courses.

Mike Nicol Uy, MD graduated from UP College of Medicine in 1989. He belongs to the first batch of INTARMED class '89. After graduation he co-founded and ran a chain of clinical laboratories which employed over 100 health care professionals. In 2006 and 2007, he sat for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and aced Step 1 with a score of 256 and Step 2 CK with a score of 258. He also passed Step 3 with a score of 219. He then founded an online review center that helped International Medical Graduates pass and even ace the USMLE Steps. At present, he still runs Askdoc-UMLE.com and is founder of Philippine CPD Online.
